Join Mass Audubon’s Tia Pinney, Senior Naturalist at Drumlin Farm Wildlife Sanctuary as we explore the role birds and pollinators play in our local ecosystems. We will talk about the best native trees, shrubs and perennials to plant to create diverse habitats in your home landscaping, help mitigate climate change and support birds and pollinators through New England’s changing seasons.

Meet our Presenter: Tia Pinney
Tia Pinney is the senior naturalist and ecological manager at Mass Audubon’s Drumlin Farm Wildlife Sanctuary where she has shared her love of the natural world and farming since 1994. She has her degrees in biology and pre-Drumlin Farm was a high school science teacher. Add having grown up on a dairy farm in CT and all the pieces came together when she became a naturalist on a sustainable farm that is also a Mass Audubon wildlife sanctuary finding her professional calling and her people.
